Meet Lady, our gentle hen with a heart of gold.

She joined our sanctuary as a young chick, accompanied by her dear friend Lois. Their bond was inseparable.

Tragically, we lost Lois last winter, leaving Lady in a state of sorrow. Yet, amidst the grief, Lady found solace in being our "shoulder chicken," offering and seeking comfort in human companionship.

With time, she has gracefully found her way among the other hens, embodying resilience and grace.
